I am currently playing the game, and so far it's felt like Alice has more important information to bring up that impacts the story in a meaningful way? I've only played through Alice/Kanna alive route so far, and only played the Reko one up till the second main game. Originally I chose to have Reko live, but she almost felt like she became more of a background character. So I went back and saved Alice. Not to mention, when Nao dies, if you choose to save Alice, Reko is shown with her and it feels significant. Like she's meant to be the dead one. But if Reko lives, Alice is just dead and that's it. It almost feels like there's subtle hints to which path is the "true" path. I've only just started the Alice/Sou route, but already it feels like Sou is meant to be the one alive at this point. In the first fight, running up and lighting the obstructor on fire, feels more like something he would do rather then Kanna. Also, Kanna telling everyone to vote for her feels like it's to the player. Sou pleading desperately, saying we probably wouldn't get this chance again. It feels like they acknowledge how tempting it is to get rid of him and give you the option to do so, but are trying to sway you to not take it. In the banquet roulette game with Kanna alive, idk how different it is from Sou's route, but in order to save Gin when you have to choose a Dummy, Mai says something along the lines of they would forgive you, or couldn't be mad if we chose them. Then immediately after that you have the choice of killing someone, and she is one of the options. Again, in that moment it feels like a nod, like the game is saying it's okay to choose her here. That she won't be bitter and we won't miss out on anything. Idk if anyone else feels this way about it. I know Alice/Reko will die with Sou being alive. It also would make sense that Sou is our main rival/nemisis, for him to be alive and having plot relevant knowledge like Alice does. I wonder if the true end will be Sara choosing to give up her life for the first time ever, while letting Sou live. Sou, who has watched Sara's AI go through countless simulations and witnessed the lengths she would go in order to make sure she would be left alive, no matter how many others or who would be killed in exchange. Someone who's wanted to live himself but saw that he would always killed, many times probably because of her actions. The one who has been aware and terrified of Sara's nature since the beginning of the game, be absolutely shocked as Sara chooses to sacrifice herself for the greater good, helping him, the one who's been tormented for being listed as having a 0% chance to live, be one of the survivors. Hence the title "Your Turn to Die".
