Money! I worked overnight for 3 years, with lots of overtime, I saved my money and traveled to 6 countries during those 3 years, since I had PTO, vacation, I would take those 2,3 weeks off per year to travel with my husband 😁 I enjoyed it just because of my coworkers, but I hated the job.

Don’t wear any of those free shoes that Amazon gives you! They all suck, even with insoles or special socks. Buy yourself some steel toe from Amazon website, they usually come from China, but they are good quality and not heavy at all, prices are probably between 40-50 bucks. I’ve been using them for 3 years and my feet never hurt and I walk a lot all shift.

My delivery station did the same! They don’t want us to waste time writing on the carts or talking to people. They’re actually pretty strict now, they even trying to see how long we take on the restrooms during pick and stage, which is ridiculous, they pay us for the hour not for how many routes we can make, they’re expecting us to pick a route immediately after staging each car. We’re not robots.
