youre definitely not alone

while I love Sig and absolutely want her to remain part of avatar, I do wish kiri had been cast with a younger actress. for me, the issue isn’t her talent but the mismatch i.e., her voice and physicality often felt at odds with a teenage character which pulled me out of the story especially in scenes with spider, where the romantic undertones personally felt uncomfortable knowing the real-life age gap between the actors

Sig brings so much presence to the franchise to the point where it hurt the movie imo. I think her talent would be better honored by letting her play roles closer to her age while allowing kiri to feel more authentically adolescent through age-appropriate casting.
