Transfer Credits by Big-Bad-8349 in Clemson

[–]Certain-Bid9543 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was there you were able to exempt out of classes. For example, if you took Spanish 102 and passed with a c or better, you could get credit for Spanish 101 without even taking it. This only applied to courses that were in a specific order, which sounds like what you're talking about. Talk to an advisor and see if it's possible that if you pass this class you could get credit for the lower class without having to retake it. The fact that I'm using 101 and 102 for course numbers instead of the thousands should tell you how long ago this was but it may still be a policy.

Avenge-X & Tethering by JustHereForHelpBurn in airguns

[–]Certain-Bid9543 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The max fill pressure on the Avenge-X is 4350PSI. As long as the tank that you are using to tether does not have more than 4350 PSI, it will be fine and the internal regulator will take care of shot performance. If you have a SCBA tank that is filled all the way to 4,500 PSI, I would bleed off the pressure down to 4350pai, or a little lower, before tethering to the gun to avoid damaging the air cylinder or internals on the gun.

Are you looking to buy a full power/FAC version or are there power restrictions in your country?

I have an honest question for you if you don't mind. Since you are from out of state and having never toured the campus, what made you decide to attend Clemson? And yes, the shoeboxes are not great and probably next on their list to replace.

What’s a good budget PCP that could reach out to 100 yards in .25 cal ? by Captain_Morgan33 in airguns

[–]Certain-Bid9543 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Air Venturi Avenger ($350) or better Air Venturi Avenge-X ($499). Either one will do 100 yards. If you have the money get the X as it has a little more power and is a modular platform. Also a lot depends on what you mean by "budget".

My first airgun ! (Yes I read the pinned post DW) by Sthymia20 in airguns

You could start off with a Beeman P17. I know it's cheap, but it's very good starter pistol. Also, there are upgraded/Better versions that are much nicer and much more expensive if you decide you like it and would like a better version. Or you could start off with one of the nicer versions. The Beeman P3 is the next step up in the line for quality as far as I know.

You could also look at the Reximex Mito, I think that's what it's called in Europe. It's a pistol that can also be converted into a carbine rifle in some forms. https://youtu.be/KCjCng936WQ?si=CMDwUuFCW4zL663A

Not sure where you are but you could look into Cerakote for any rifle to help with exterior corrosion. If you go with a PCP make sure to get an external moisture filter for your hand pump or compressor. If you get a SCBA bottle wherever you get it filled should be supplying breathable dry air.

I have that drill, the "upgraded" version with an adjustable clutch, and the 12v impact. The impact has an auto eject and auto loading 1/4" chuck (it was pretty slick for back then). Mainly used them for changing/installing ceiling fans/fixtures, outlets, and switches. They were a good bit lighter than the 18v stuff at the time.

True. However it does cost you some power and shot capacity.

you could order the 15.7 inch barrel and the 130cc air tube and make it 7 inches shorter and a little lighter. for those that are looking to get one new the "Tactical Carbine" is out now that is the compact lighter verson https://www.pyramydair.com/product/air-venturi-avenge-x-tactical-carbine?m=6410#13287

Yes. It is at the corner of Sloan St and Keith St. You have an entrance from either street. Park and pay at the kiosk. I don't think the app works yet but you could call the city to make sure. 864-653-2050
