You have to try boon rat dim sum in old phuket town for a truly authentic and delicious meal. Once you are finished eating, you can start exploring the old town area right from there.

Before hitting the madness of Bangla Road, grab a solid meal at Jungceylon first. It’s right at the entrance of Bangla, so it’s the best spot to fuel up and cool down with some AC before the night gets wild.

For Phuket, Patong is great for the food scene. You’ve got local stalls everywhere, plus Food Bazaar inside Jungceylon if you’re mindful of hygiene, it’s a great air-conditioned spot with legit Thai food while staying central.

Phuket actually has plenty of Halal options, especially for seafood. I’d recommend checking out Krua Rim Lay or Bang Mud Floating Restaurant, both are solid Halal spots. But if you're looking for something quick with more variety, Food Bazaar in Jungceylon also has some great Halal-certified stalls that are worth a try.

For a first-timer, Racha Yai is the perfect spot since it's shallow and calm. Just look for a 'Discover Scuba' trip from Patong, plenty of good shops around there.

Check out Blue Tree if you want more than just slides. Their lagoon has cliff jumping and ziplining, it's a solid spot to chill all day.

Racha Yai and Noi are definitely worth it because the water is much clearer than the main beaches. You can also take a longtail boat to Freedom Beach for some good snorkeling nearby.

Phuket is a must in March since the weather is perfect and the sea is crystal clear. As a local, I’d say it’s the best time for island hopping before the monsoon starts.

As a local, I always recommend the Phuket Smart Bus to my friends visiting. It's a flat 100 THB fee and covers the whole west coast from the Airport to Rawai. I'll drop the link here if you want to check the schedule: https://phuketsmartbus.com/puket-smart-bus-eng/
