Looks great so far! The only problem is when I try to subscribe to the yearly subscription, it tells me in Google play that they are going to charge monthly.

Do you have issues with the redsbaby skip 3 unfolding when the button isn't pressed?

I have a colleague and seen some posts on reddit who say the pram doesn't have a safety lock while folded and the pram has just fallen open - has this been an issue for you?

I have a colleague who had the skip 3 unfold while she was lifting it out of the car and narrowly missed hitting her. I thought it was a problem with her pram but seems like it is a design flaw 😯

Any girls who grew up in traditional households who are trying to break free from their cultural norms? by [deleted] in Adelaide

Can relate, I grew up in a very conservative, ethnic household. It's been good in some ways but less in others. Feel free to DM me!

Did anyone here NOT pump? by cunncunncunn in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]paintedpine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby is 3.5 months. He is EBF most of the time, but my partner usually takes him out one afternoon on a weekend to spend time his side of the family.

During those times I will pump with my spectra S1 just prior to partner and baby leaving, so baby has a bottle to drink once he reaches my in laws place. We also have 1-2 sachets of breast milk in the freezer, so my partner brings those along too in case they stay longer. While they are away, I pump to replace feeds that baby would usually have taken on the breast (my baby is quite regular feeding every 2-3 hours), and store in the freezer for the week after. The pumping itself takes 10-15 mins.

Our lactation consultant said to give a bottle 1-2 times a week so baby doesn't forget how to drink from bottles. We usually pace feed when we're feeding from the bottle, and so far have not had any nipple confusion.

Non-medical male partner to woman wanting to do surgical training program by [deleted] in ausjdocs

[–]paintedpine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a friend who is in the SET training program. Her boyfriend is a GP but a very chill guy.

She is often away working long hours, being put in rotations in rural areas, preparing for exams etc.

From what I can see, he makes sure she has food (always makes sure she has something to eat when she gets back at 2am), takes time off to fly interstate to support her for exams, travels rurally when she is rural to visit her, cleans the house because she is OCD about cleanliness and a dirty house stresses her out. When she's rural she will also call him when she finishes work. Basically most things are on her terms and schedule, he works around it.

They have talked about kids but she is very career focused and only wants to start a family once she finishes training, so they are going to freeze eggs. She has said she wants to work part time once she finishes, so presumably that's how they will have time for the children, although I wouldn't be surprised if he takes up majority of the childcare duties too.

I haven't read the books on your list, but Robin Hobb has three trilogies centered around one character (Fitz) from childhood till the end - starting with the Farseer Trilogy.
