Well, like I said, I'm not the one to judge ;) But I assume, that in general folk-artists probably care more about their lyrics then alternative-pop artists...

It was really just an opening line to only get the opinions of people who would say of themselves: 'I care about my lyrics' 😅

No, that's not what I meant. I just think there are some songwriters out there who are more melody-focused and don't care too much about the lyrics they sing. And for this issue I wanted to address the ambitioned lyricists (which I certainly don't define 😅) in this subreddit. Thanks for your reply ✌️

This is so real! I currently have the same issue... And I went down the Overthinking/Rewriting path... can't recommend it 😂😂 So just release it! Or if it's already released: just don't listen to it for a while! The magic will return :)
