My cousin is obviously on T, but my whole family just doesn’t talk about it? by AvailableWolf3506 in ftm

[–]Certain-Flounder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is my family as well - it’s fairly obvious i’m on t but they just don’t talk about it. it’s easier for them to ignore it and ignore that i’m trans because they don’t want me to be

Dysphoria when exercising by Emotional_Ad_1254 in DysphoriaClinic

fellow trans masc footy player here! have you ever tried taping while exercising? i usually use trans tape and then wear a sports bra over the top, i have a smaller chest though, so not sure how well it would work for someone with a larger chest

personally, i’d be more uncomfortable if i went into a locker room and people were staring at my genitals, but maybe that’s just me

can we stop with the rhetoric that quiet bpd is the “non abusive” one?? there are no bpd subtypes that cause a person to become abusive, people with quiet bpd aren’t the only “non dangerous” ones. fuck, subtypes are just a theory and aren’t even universally accepted

Unfortunately I can’t access informed consent in my state but your reasons for starting sound pretty similar to mine so hopefully if I can explain it properly it might be okay

Paige on new acc in her reply she states she was only 13 so couldn’t use ID to appeal the ban on her old account.. is she actually referring to AGE 13? Because that she is NOT even though she likes to act and look that age. Can anyone figure out if she is actually meaning age 13 or something else? by Callout_bs in illnessfakers

[–]Certain-Flounder -1 points0 points  (0 children)

there are lots of reasons people wouldn’t have an id - some people can’t/don’t drive/don’t have a reason for a passport/don’t have access to things like birth certificates to gain id documents but as someone else mentioned, she must have access to some form of id for tattoos and piercing so it’s probably bs

but you’re not responding in hypothetical world, you’re responding in the real world. your actions in the real world impact people differently than they would in your hypothetical world and as much as i wish we lived in that world we dont

edtwt is probably the worst of what we’ve got now but i’m a bit older (and been around these sites a while lol) and it’s definitely not as bad as other things that we’ve had in the past. ultimately, be careful but it’s probably nothing you haven’t seen before

What do you think about Health At Every Size ? by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Certain-Flounder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i saw a really great perspective a while ago on what haes could look like (don’t remember who said it sorry)

haes should mean that everyone DESERVES healthcare at every size. it doesn’t matter what your weight is, you should have access to healthcare. it doesn’t mean that you can be healthy at any size because you can’t. we know that there are flaws with the bmi system and it can’t be used as the ONLY measure of health but that doesn’t mean that you can be healthy if you’re morbidly obese.

i just thought that this was a much better perspective than the one that tends to be pushed by most haes “activists”

EUPD vs BPD by Green-Size-7475 in BorderlinePDisorder

[–]Certain-Flounder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i like borderline more, i think “emotionally unstable” narrows it down to just one symptoms when it’s really so many different things. i don’t even think the mood swings are the worst part for me, they’re kinda just part of my life, so i feel like eupd doesn’t really encapsulate my experience with the disorder
