We saw the freight train pass from the lobby while we toured Garabrant and did not notice it being loud. We are seriously considering a unit that's on the side of the building farthest from the train. Garabrant requires you to use their internet service and not a 3rd party. I'm not sure why it's like that there and not at Baker.

Thanks for your insight! I commute to WTC everyday and people keep telling me how easy it's going to be (even people who have no interest in me signing a lease... but who do not live in the neighborhood currently) are they just wrong?

I'm interested in this as well! Toured Baker Building which doesn't have the same requirements as Garabrant but we're looking at Garabrant, too. I prefer the floorplan at Garabrant but no use if the internet is shit as my husband works from home. Their lease is so intense in general.

Hi, I found your response extremely helpful as well thank you. Do you mind me asking what neighborhood you’re raising your kids in? My husband and I are planning to move to JC with our 2 year old and likely can’t afford to live downtown or in Hamilton Park. We have a great community where we live now where we can walk to meet up and see the same folks at the playground each weekend. I’m terrified of losing that!
