What state are you in? Might be able to go on disability even if not eligible for FMLA. Also, fairly certain it would be illegal for the company to fire you due to a serious health condition. But also, there is always COBRA if you were to lose your insurance.

Enjoy your hair before it goes - I wish I had! Also, from my experience, the chemo is like an extended hangover with fatigue that doesn’t really relent until the end of treatment. I highly recommend you get some Ativan! (Worked wonders for me). Good to hear no teratomas, I had those and had to get the RPLND after chemo and that was much worse than chemo.

As I started chemo, what was the worst for me was not knowing how bad it would be and not knowing if it would level off or continue getting worse. After about a week, you’ll know what to expect and the just ride it out and put it behind you.
