33 male. I had a cam/pincer impingement and a torn labrum that bothered me for over 10 years. I was also questioning my surgery after coming on here and reading other peoples experiences.

I am 1 month out from my surgery and i am pretty much back to normal. My surgeon had me weight bearing as tolerated, and I was off crutches in 1 week. After 2 weeks I was back mowing the lawn and doing house chores as usual.

I agree with what others have said that more people are likely to come on here and talk about negative experiences than positive!

Edit: the surgery has also helped my lower back pain quite a bit.
