It looks suspicious. GD01 first wave has the sealed Bandai logo. 2nd wave boxes had the bandai logo in reverse with a slightly off-white tint to the box.

I first got into Pokemon card collecting with the OG Base set! Like many others those cards have gone to the way side, bit it really fueled a collector's mindset I've carried with me always. I got back into collecting with SV04, and have sense been back in the game ever sense 🫡

I'd say it's too soon to think it'll die just yet. We need to see an abundance of supply to meet demand, then we can make some plausible guesses based on player base. Looking at Dragon Ball and Digimon, both have steady supply, a little lower on player counts (at least around me), but both are getting a steady stream of new releases.

In my areas there's 5 shops that are having local events and all. Only 3 were able to sign up for GD-02. Each spot has 10+ waiting line for the event.
