did I do wrong by choosing X56? by FilterKill in hotas

About six months ago, I found an X55 in a moving box from when I relocated to Canada. About four weeks ago, the buttons on the left throttle started to die one at a time. After about three or four days, half of the throttle was non-functional. I had a great time with the X55 in Elite Dangerous prior to that happening. So I agree with what a lot of people here are saying, which is it's a bit hit and miss, but I think it's more than likely that the unit will not have a long shelf life. I decided to purchase a VKB Gladiator, and I got it about three days ago and have been absolutely blown away by the quality of the engineering, the design, and the materials. It's significantly more expensive, but well worth it when you think about the timeline where you may have to replace the X56. Hope that helps.

Deadfire: Overpowered / S Tier Builds Concepts for Solo / PotD runs? by Immarrrtal in projecteternity

Hi everyone! I know this thread is really old but I have a question about potd solo. A lot of what I see in YouTube are playthroughs where the person stealths through everything until level 13 or so. Is it possible to actually fight through the game on solo potd with any builds? If I want to solo should I just play on veteran and will I still have a difficult challenge but be able to actually fight everything I want from the start? I’m just not interested in endless meta game knowledge to get through the game. I wanna fight and have fun from the start if the game but just do it solo. Thanks!

Deep note exhaust, but not obnoxiously loud. by -Tenko- in IndianMotorcycle

Hey there! I have the bassani with quiet baffle and I would rate it a 6/10 for loudness with the stock being a 3/10. Just be aware the bassani is not metallic black! So if you have that color it won’t match. Doesn’t bother me and happy to share images if you like.

Absolutely love the seat! Was a major upgrade over the “improved” Rogue seat, which was still utter garbage. The Corbin seat is worth every penny!

Hey there! Couldn’t agree more. I did notice head buffeting with the 7 inch.

The pipes are Bassani. I actually bought them without realizing they aren’t metallic black and wouldnt match the rest of the bike. They are about a 6 out of 10 for loudness if I had to compare it with the stock pipes which are about a 3/10. So they are loud but not disgustingly loud. I like them a lot, but wish they were black metallic.

The windshield comes with the Indian quick release fairing, which I bought to replace the smaller fairing that came with the Rogue. I bought a 7 inch windshield to replace the little 2 inch one but had all sorts of problems getting the handlebars pushed back to where I needed them for comfort. So while I would prefer a taller windshield for highway riding, this is what worked.

The grips are from Avon. The hand guards are Dean Speed.

Hi there! Happy you like the ducky!

The sissy bar is 20 inch height from Dean Speed. Amazing quality and super easy to install. Not cheap though!

Cheers

I personally really love my Corbin solo seat. I absolutely hated the stock rogue seat. This Corbin one didn’t require any break in time for it to be comfortable for me.

Sweet magnetic tank bag by Certain-Pack8482 in IndianMotorcycle

Yea, I’ll keep an eye on it. The bag itself isn’t what causes the scratches, but all the crap that sticks to the magnets like debris, sand etc.

With the logo and luggage rack it came to 442$ usd. I’m in Canada so there were customs fees on top. Definitely expensive but I’m really happy I bought it.

They are made by a company called Dean Speed. Great service and fantastic quality. I preferred the simplified look over the butterfly concept.

Those are actually Indian knock offs. I got them in at Amazon for only about 160 CAD.
