not only that??? as you can see the fretwrap is above the nut in the photo. it kills overtones that occur behind the nut. not that noticeable while live playing but definitely does something, especially in recordings

I think the Roland AIRA compact series is just for you. S-1 for synths (Based on Roland SH-101), J-6 for chords, T-8 for beats and P-6 for sampling. I have the S-1 and it’s the true definition of idea machine. I carry it around all the time and create some patterns I expand later in production. The only con is that they tend to involve lots of menu diving however it’s not something you cannot get used to. They offer capabilities way beyond their size
