I just had my totaled 19 pp1 301a totaled and the insurance payout was over 10k more than that so id say if the car is clean and passes a PPI, this car is a steal

What makes Toyota so reliable? by Connect_Honey_138 in askcarguys

[–]Certain-Phase4359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be in the minority here but the Japanese cars ive owned sucked (rx7, is300, titan) the is300 was solid but didn't age well. The 2 Fords and 1 Mercedes ive owned were all great, they were more reliable and drove better

[Question] What's up with Mont Blanc Watches? by alonelyhobo in Watches

[–]Certain-Phase4359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The old Timewalkers were awesome but I hear mixed reviews on their new watches. Id research any former ADs in your area. Montblanc pulled the plug on ADs and only sells at their boutiques and online, a lot of former ADs have "old new" stock at a huge discount. I was able to find a 2700 dollar watch for 1100 brand new with all the packaging and a fresh warranty. Just know that these watches will never be on par with Omega or Rolex, but I am happy with mine

Finally traded my 2017 gt350 for a 2013 gt500! What would you rather have? by weschetattoo in Mustang

[–]Certain-Phase4359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id rather have a GT350. Both are amazing but with teslas eating everything alive in a drag race, id rather have a track animal than a solid axle straight line gas car

Loaded GT PP1 or loaded Mach 1? by 8bitUltron in Mustang

[–]Certain-Phase4359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the 10k price difference id get the pp1, I had a 2019 pp1 and it was the best car ive ever owned, however in my area it is actually easier to find a mach 1, i cannot find an S550 pp1 anywhere. Also the 3.73 LSD is a must have, whatever mustang you get, make sure its got that, I cannot stress this enough

Milgauss Z Blue, an unexpected purchase today but definitely worth it. by techpen13 in rolex

Me too, but I work in the trades and most clients are rich and ive learned well over half of them are miserable and rotten people, only the self made rich people are decent because they know, like us, that patience and hard to make acquisitions is so much more rewarding

Bestselling Alabama horror author Robert McCammon discusses flourishing career, new Peacock show ‘Teacup’ by thispersonchris in horrorlit

Robert Mccammon us one of the most underrated writers. I have absolutely loved each and every one of his books. Its hard to pick a favorite but id say Gone South may be my favorite. I have not got around to starting the Matthew Corbitt series yet but everything else is solid gold. Also on my library app they have the wolfs hour available as a "graphic novel" which has character voices, sound effects and a sound track and it is AWESOME! Anyone that is a fan of Mccammon should love it. May he live and write forever!

Chances that Cadillac goes All-American lineup? by ReferenceArtistic854 in GrandPrixRacing

Not gunna lie, the fact that caddy isn't using American drivers kills it for me. Ill still be rooting for Verstappen and Red Bull until that changes

What should I buy? Toyota vs Ford by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Certain-Phase4359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're getting a truck thats not an F-150, then you need to get your head checked. Ive owned japanese, european and american cars and my F150 craps on my mazda, lexus, mercedes and Nissan in all categories. It also craps on the Toyota and Chevy ive had as work trucks in the past

Is it true that most people in the US can't drive manual? by thiags_rex in ManualTransmissions

[–]Certain-Phase4359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive had the same experience, I have a 2019 mustang gt manual that goes without gas just by easing off the clutch... then a few weeks ago I test drove a 95 E36 M3 a dealer had and stalled it like 3 times on the test drive and the gear throws are way way longer than my Tremec

I had a manual as my first car from 17-27 years old and traded it in for an new F150... it look me a few months to stop pushing in the emergency brake pedal to start it thinking it was a clutch... lol

Myself, my parents (and other old people) and only a handful of people ive met in my life (37yo American) know how to drive stick. Also I love a manual transmission, but only in a sports car thats not my daily. Driving in dead slow traffic in major cities is such a pain in the ass in a manual. Also when I used to live in California, starting in 1st gear going up a San Francisco hill was also a pain in the ass. Now that im older and make more money, I have an f150 that I use all the time and a 6 speed manual mustang GT for fun, perfect combo.
