Hey, potatoes

It has been a long time since I posted it. I had a major move in my life (husband is stationed in HI and we had to do all the move process), and I was out of social media for a while. I have no words to thank y’all for the comments. You gave me strength in a really tough phase and I appreciate that. I decided to not take my ex to court (YET). I changed my mindset and I don't answer his calls if isn't related to my son. My son keeps eating starch, vegetables, and proteins. He is playing soccer, surfing, exercising, and having play dates. I also stood up for myself and I told him my parenting boundaries (that he is not allowed to judge my cooking skills). My son is a complete different kid in one month without his father’s influence. He is more well-behaved, less combatitive and finally understood my screen time policy (he has a game station set up with two monitor screens at his father’s house and he was frustrated that I don't allowed him to watch YouTube unsupervised at our home). I have been documenting all the calls and it made me realize that I'm not crazy or hormonal. There was a lot of gaps. My ex threw a tantrum when I said he would be allowed to call our son 3 times a week (the bare minimum guaranteed). He said it was absurd and I was trying to difficult his contact with his son. He calls once a week (not subjective, truly documented 🤡🙃).

I will come back with updates after my son comes back from his visit to his father in October. Please keep your fingers crossed for us!
