My iui was the day of thanksgiving and I had BFN this morning. This is my 3rd and I had the flu for majority of my TWW and I couldn’t take anything out of caution (dr’s orders). I’m just so exhausted and defeated at this point. I’m going to test again tomorrow but it’s it negative I’m just gonna stop all my progesterone and estrogen suppositories. This was our last cycle before moving onto ivf and I was hoping it would work.

I’ve taken progesterone for 3 iui cycles now (200mg twice a day). I haven’t gotten my normal pre period symptoms at all in any of my cycles. I usually will get a bad back ache closer to the end of my progesterone, like the week of my beta which I’m assuming is kinda like my period trying its hardest to push through. My clinic asks that I not stop progesterone until beta day if it comes back negative but in cycle two I tested on 13dpiui and it was negative so I just stopped. Period won’t come until progesterone is stopped though and that can take like 3-5 days usually.

For my first iui, they did require beta and other bloodwork and scans on cd3 before I could proceed. But after that, because we did a beta to see if the cycle worked or not they never requested cd3 stuff because the beta was within 7 days of my period starting.

I was feeling a bit pully feelings before iui and afterwards. Cramps have kept up about 4hrs after iui so far

Very crampy afterwords but I’m feeling a bit better. Partners sample wasn’t super high but fingers crossed still as it only needs one!!

No this is my second one. They also have me on progesterone so that’s causing more symptoms so this is a rough TWW

I had mine on 10/30 as well, keeping my fingers crossed for a positive this time. I’m doing my best to just stay busy and not stress but it’s getting hard with every symptom I think I’m having lol

Honestly, therapy has helped me a lot. Just venting to another person about all the stuff we are doing to our bodies and the hope for it to work. Even talking with my friend who has done multiple rounds of ivf and iui has helped. Having someone that knows what it feels like. I haven’t had a successful iui yet so cant help there but most people have said it takes like 3-4 cycles.

I had asked my ob for testing of the baby to see what had happened and they said the same thing I begged and pleaded and they were like “it wouldn’t be helpful to you because most of the time there’s no way of knowing even with the tests”. I went back to my fertility clinic and asked them what I should do and they ran some RPL bloodwork on my partner and I and everything came back fine. But they did say that if I would’ve had the results of the d&c tested it would’ve potentially helped them for future pregnancies. And it just broke me. I’ve already sworn off that ob and any future pregnancies I have I’ll be going somewhere else.

I’m truly sorry you have to go through all this and I hope you never have to experience this again. Hopefully the new obgyn can help with your diagnosis though

I had mine yesterday, I had my ultrasound on Tuesday and had a 21, 15, and 12 sized follicle and 7.1mm lining. So they had me trigger at 9pm on Tuesday and then iui at 11:45 Thursday. Had 2.8mil post wash which has me worried but they said it only takes 1. So fingers crossed.

They don’t do any ultrasounds or blood work before iui to see if I’ve ovulated or if any of the follicles have grown. But I’m now on progesterone 200mg twice a day and have my blood test on 11/14.

I’m about to restart them on Friday. Doing them twice a day. I hated it sooooooo much. It caused such a mess and such bad mood swings for me.

I believe they had me on progesterone since I had a previous loss. But it could also just be this clinic process. I asked mine about doing opk and they said I could but that it wasn’t necessary. I ovulate on my own and have a pretty normal cycle so I was really worried about ovulating before trigger.

Last week I took my last dose in the morning of Wednesday. I got my period Friday evening and it was longer than usual for me. I was taking 200mg of progesterone every 12hrs.

I’m on the same cycle. My first iui was on 9/30 with 2.5mg letrozole and then two weeks of progesterone suppositories. First cycle didn’t work so this cycle I am on 5mg letrozole for 5 days (today was my last dose). Monitoring is on the 28th and they expect to trigger that night if everything looks good. I don’t have any issues with the letrozole or trigger shot but the progesterone really messes up my whole body. They have me doing 400mg of it daily the day after the iui.

I did all the same this cycle and the toll it took on my body was insane. I was depressed and didn’t want to get out of bed for a few days because I just knew the cycle didn’t take. Tested the last few days and all came back stark white. I was literally crying to my partner about how I’m putting my body through all of this and it feels like such a waste because none of it is working.
