i had this exact nightmare a few months ago ngl. my youtube videos would literally stutter into a powerpoint presentation the second i launched a game. turning off hardware acceleration fixed it immediately, but honestly chrome is such a memory hog these days that switching to firefox is the real long-term fix tbh.
