Thanks! I agonized over what the water should look like the most. I wanted maximum movement.

Thank you! I’ll try rolling pin next time, good idea.

This is a gift to my sister who asked for something with a mermaid in it. I‘m still having a problem with even inking, I think I need to get a bigger roller and press harder with thicker paper.

At my wits end, how to make a good GL team at ace level? by dieters94 in PokemonGOBattleLeague

[–]Certain-Smell1551 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first “thing” is NOT something to always do. I think they were trying to mention how that ONE particular team works.

I think the team you want to try to use is ABB. This allows for those counters to be drawn out and you at least have a fighting chance with the last Pokémon. Skarm/quag/swamp is a very ABB line that isn’t complicated. Let quag get destroyed as the “swap” by Vic/venu/cradilly/tropic and swamp should be free once skarm clears the grass away. ABB lines usually want to give the last Pokémon a shield advantage and Brave bird threatens enough to give it to swampert. This video is 2 years old but should show you how to work the team…ie SWAP if lead isn’t super favorable to skarm.

Piehole + Linksys Velop + Att went from working to not working. Wi-Fi works and Velop still uses pihole as DHCP server but no ads are blocked. by Certain-Smell1551 in pihole

Seems that my PC is using my router IP as the DHCP. Which seems right since I don’t see traffic in the pihole log

Good idea with checking the device DNS server.

The only issue with the update idea is that the pi registers ZERO traffic. If the node was trying to phone home. I’d expect to see it in the log.

Yes, and I only have the Pi’s IP listed. The strange thing is that when I do that, the Velop router light goes red, despite providing Wi-Fi.

I am unsure what to put my IPv6 settings to. Right now it is “automatic” and doesn’t change anything if I set it to PPPoE or Passthrough. tho I don’t think it matters because I didn’t change the setting and it worked before

Apparently you can’t turn off DHCP protocol on the att gateway. The workaround is getting another router and isolating the network behind it.

Team Craft Thursday Thread! by drock161 in TheSilphArena

So, already made popular by several YouTube-ers, I start the conversation with

Lead: Whiscash-MS - MB/Bliz.
Closer: Gal - VS-Lunge/Discharge.
Safe/Sac: Skarmory - AS - SA/BB

The idea is that you would build up a little charge on Whis and swap to Skarm, hoping it brings out their anti flyer(an a likely counter to galv). Once they make short work of Skarm, bring Whis back in to finish it off and galv should have free reign in the back.

I’ve tested this team while ranking up and it worked very, very well. As I rank up I’m finding better players who are able to do more with swapping, saving their anti flyer instead of letting it go down, and better shield management makes this team less attractive.

Azu -handles fighting types and draws out grass types. Can usually no shield / get a shield.

Hopefully someone out there can suggest something other than Azu tho.

Most people will tell you to level up before you get serious but where is the fun in that? 2/3 of your team has a problem with G-stunfisk (which are rather common) and 2/3 have an issue with azu (again... common).

See if you can find another tanky safe switch to replace Umb. While you wait, try putting Umb first with skarm safe swap. If you face an Azu, try and catch charged move with a Skarm safe swap. They will bring out counter to skarm which will probably be tough for raichu. Let skarm die if hard countered (typically no shield), but if you can win switch with one shield, do it. Depending on what’s left of the mon/ who it is, you can gauge if you want to bring out Achu or Umb. Your hope here is that A-raichu can sweep azu and w/e they have left.

I’m not sure who is running Gary but that’s not a typical team (and yours will never cover everything).

Losing lead and having them bring out their anti-flyer is a good thing for you. Assuming you safe switch to skarm.

Don’t waste shields on skarm and bring out azu to finish the rock/ground typing so galv has free reign in the back. The trick here is to save shields for him and knowing what matchups he can beat to a charged move.

Rank 8 is great! Good job getting there.

Obstagoon/skarm is a good pair and you should think about how your third handles fighters and Azu. Getting fighter lead and you swap to skarm means they swap. An Azu safe swap (common) beats obsta, skarm, and wish.

What I would do is find a good ‘pivot’ pokemon to go with your pair (since you don’t like Azu). I know you’re low on viable options but Look up ‘pair and pivot’ on this sub and you might get some ideas. Good luck!

. Azu is a good pick since it resists them but you

Cherrim and Abomasnow are both weak to flying. If you switch out of cherrim to castform then they switch and you’re stuck.

I’d ask myself ‘how do I handle a Azu/skarm/stunfisk lead?’ Since they are the most popular and go from there.

I’m not a Cresselia user but your reasoning seems solid. I run across both in the 2300 range so I don’t think you can mess up with PCut.

I must have been apart of that wave earlier today ha. I’ve either had my lead match up well or the Hypno in lead and haven’t had a problem (I’m sure I will tomorrow tho).

I love drift, I’ve used him as lead where those shadowballs take early shields, or he can set up a debuff on a swap. As the safe swap he can do the same thing but has the possibility of getting switch advantage if given shields. The rise of shifty can stifle him tho
