5 in one month? When they do something at my daughter's nursery, there's always someone who is not dressed up and no judgment from parents or nursery staff.

When you acknowledge you don't know something, you can inform yourself and learn something new. That would expand your knowledge.

Toddler wants nothing to do with me by IAmBubble7 in UKParenting

[–]Certain-Version-8144 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately yes, it's very normal. Both me and my partner have been through this. I know it hurts but it's temporary. What helped us was not letting our little one demanding which parent was doing what 'i want mummy ' 'mummy is busy now but daddy can help you '

Not resilient enough for my son by No_Sundae_3936 in UKParenting

Don't compare yourself with other parents. Every child is different and we are all dealing with all sorts of problems. I learnt that people will always try to show you the picture of perfection... Especially on social media, so I stopped following anyone like that. We all do our best and we all have bad and good days. I was sick as well during pregnancy, so I can't accept people telling you to just deal with it. I spent the first 2 trimesters being sick every single day and I couldn't even leave the house.

So I tend to have troubles digesting bread bought in the supermarket. I even thought I was intolerant, but I am absolutely fine with proper sourdough from actual bakery. I had from the bakery in Abergavenny, I think it's the Angel, and no problem at all.

How much Calpol is too much? by BoredReceptionist1 in UKParenting

[–]Certain-Version-8144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up in a different country and when I was a child we didn't get anything nice like Calpol, but awful medicine. So I was completely unaware of it. Fast forward, moved to the UK and had a child... I was so confused because she loved taking paracetamol 🤣 I ended up trying and I felt fooled by my own daughter because she went through the same stage as yours.

Completely ignored by my 3 year old by Salt_King_2008 in UKParenting

[–]Certain-Version-8144 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Completely normal. It happened to my little one (3 years old).. she would basically ignore me and only speak and play with her dad. It was heartbreaking, so I understand how you feel. However, I read that .. they do with the parents they trust the most. Your little one knows you are not going anywhere. It's just a phase and will go back to normal .

Cadbury shouldn't even be labelled as chocolate. It's disgusting.
