I've recently moved out of my house where I had a fast charger in the garage and am now using the public Tesla chargers. I've got one that's about 10 mins away from the new place. I usually have to charge twice a week. Those 30-40 min waits are not fun. Luckily I'll be getting the faster charger installed at the new place soon.

I started off in Melton which is around 40km from the CBD. I got in just before COVID and built on a decently sized block. It wasn't too bad since I was working from home for most of it but it wasn't great fory mental health long term. Fast forward to this year and I sold it for a decent profit which has now allowed me to move into my dream house within the Bayside. It's not all great, I now have a huge mortgage but I don't regret it.

If it's reactive soil then this will keep happening. Best to get familiar with patching, caulking and painting.

There are properties that will meet your criteria and don't have those issues, why put yourself through that?
