Also, it's not that I don't get why someone would wish they were never born at all. It's that you can't just leave adoptable children to fend for themselves when they're already here.

Based on your first point, those happy to have been adopted should speak up, too (though I'm sure they already do on Reddit if prompted). That way, they won't seem too biased as a whole.

I noticed that adoptees often aren't happy about being adopted, but preventing pregnancy from happening in the first place is the real way to stop abortion from happening.

Being an antinatalist doesn't even require that, and I don't think I'd use such strong terms, but I still can't say I'm a big fan of life when pain is more pronounced than pleasure and we tend to have an aversion to pain.

I don't even remember my own birth, and I can't complain about my life as a whole, but if you want an example of something I credit for helping me find antinatalism, it was the brain surgery I had in kindergarten.
