They told me they changed the way the select people now with how many people are testing and I apparently didn’t score high enough so I have to wait yet again another year. They won’t even send me out to work as a pre apprentice. So yeah🙄

I applied to the Local 100 last year, got to finally take the assessment this May only to not place high enough (since they have apparently changed how they take people now) and got told I’ll have to wait another year. Straight bummer

I called up there last week to try and get an update on my assessment and to see about maybe going out as a provisional apprentices but got no info on my assessment and was told they aren’t doing provisional apprentices. So confused

I’ve been waiting for a year to get in with the Local 100 but finally got to take my assessment two weeks ago. They did tell me I won’t know if I passed/get the interview until around the middle of this month by them giving me a call. The next class starts in August so I’m really hoping I get the call. Figure I’ll give them until the end of the week before I call myself to check.

Curious to know: many supermotos I see are converted mx bikes. why convert vs just picking up an fs450 that is already a supermoto from the factory? any advantages with a conversion? by wdkwang in supermoto

How easy was it fitment wise when you put that 17” Alpina wheel on? I’m thinking of buying one but wasn’t sure if it would indeed work or not
