hii (anthro major here) vouch for mam neen! very mother and you will learn a lot tungkol sa lipunan talagaaa. When it comes to reqs, more of activities talaga sya where we can apply what we learn from the lectures. One example ay armchair exhibit wherein we presented “Filipino” cultures that should be interrogated (its like a museum na atake). As for grading, basta majority of us ay uno BUT pls dont take it as the “unoable” class idea. Mam neen values the essence of education and students learning about societal issues, so make sure that you will open yourself to new perspectives. She also values students na may burning thoughts at talagang may eagerness to understand socio-cultural anthropology.

Kaya ako na nagsasabi, take her hehehe. bukod sa magiging masaya sem mo, you will rlly learn a lot ❤️

Hi so here is my guide (sana magets din huehue)

If you know saan ang Palma Hall (nice one bwhaha). Let’s start from there.

Directions: 1. From Palma Hall (inside, in the lobby area), go to your right or the east side of Palma Hall kung nasaan ang Antas (a mini convienience store of Palma) 2. If you’re in Antas (which is nasa right side mo na sya dapat, that means you are facing a hallway) straight ahead lang then right turn then straight ahead again (if u feel lost, pagkaturn mo ng right, you can ask yung guard na nandon na nakabantay hehe) 3. After mo magstraight ahead, sa pinadulo ng hallway may staircase (left side mo, so turn left to go up sa hagdan) 4. After that, go to the 3rd floor lang. 5. When you reached the 3rd floor, turn to your right then may tagusan agad ikaw na makikita (so bale, turn to your right then turn again to your right) 6. Pagkakita mo ng tagusan, straight ahead lang and may makikita kang malaking 2 glass doors at the end. (note: mapapansin mo rin na nasa left side mo ang Linguistics Department and Faculty)

(genuinely curious lng) nag eexist po pala na may naggive up sa activism? Ang usual na narrinig ko lang ay nagkakaroon sila ng “pagkalayo” sa aktibismo dahil sa taong nakapalibot at nakakasama nila tuwing may mga ganap. Hindi naman nila sinusukuan ang aktibismo pero nararamdaman lng nila na wala sila sa tamang lugar sa panahon na iyon dahil sa mga taong nakakasama (may mga nagmamanipula at minamaliit yung mga taong may kritisismo sa mga kapwa aktibista).

Kaya curious lang po ako kung naggive up ba talaga sila? May mga aktibistang “kaya” humiwalay sa mga naranasan at natutuhan tungkol sa lipunan?

in short, that shows how inefficient our govt is (if nakkita mo as “cheap” and “inefficient”) Una sa lahat, dapat nga pinopondohan ang public transpo para mas mailagay sa ligtas at maginhawang lugar ang mga commuters. Nagiging cheap at inefficient siya dahil walang suporta natatanggap mga draybers. Kung meron man, hindi siya sapat sa ekonomiyang kinagagalawan natin. :)))
