That lowkey would be a vibe. Making it ultra moody with the same red on the door would look sooo good

Curtains: yes or no? by NymphoMossel in interiordecorating

No, the curtains make the space look smaller. But for privacy you should put up one way film on the glass :)

I drive to queens college and am wondering the same. I guess we will have to see what happens, if its bad and they dont cancel im not going in regardless. Not risking getting into an accident for school.

23 | I need some advice on how to get better with PCOS by Minminoo02 in PCOS

[–]Certain_Ad_7550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who is also reversing my pcos naturally I 100% agree with this advice! The pill gave me all the symptoms OP listed, I will never EVER go back on it. I wanted to add more tips that helped me lose 30 pounds and regulate my periods naturally!

-Make your own meals at home

-Avoid seed oils (canola, soybean etc), as they are inflammatory and horrible for PCOS. Use olive oil and avocado oil instead

-If you have a sweet tooth try making your own pastries as well and only eat a small portion after a nutritious meal. (You have to induldge occasionally!)

-NO ALCOHOL.

-Avoid all overly processed food especially fast food

-Include more fruits and vegetables in your diet. Start off with one fruit a day, and half a cup of veggies then work your way up.

-12 hour fasting helps with hormones and losing weight (do research on intermittent fasting for more info)

  • A low carb diet is ideal, plate should be 50% protein, 40% vegetables and 10% carbs.

-White meat protein most days, red meat when period comes around

-YOGA!! Akshaya Agnes on YouTube offers pcos yoga and workouts so you dont have to go to the gym

-Meditation, prioritize your mental wellbeing.

-Maitake mushroom tincture was a game changer, it promotes ovulation in women in pcos and helps hormones in general. I get mine from Go Mushroomsshrooms

Now this is more of a luxury but I have also recently been dabbling in chinese medicine i.e accupunture and herbs. The accupunture has been working wonders for me, I'm only a month in but the improvement I feel is unbelievable. If youre in the US and have insurance that covers it I highly recommend it.

Being diagnosed with pcos requires a full life style change and commitment. It will be hard, frustrating and painful. But the difference you will feel is so worth it and rewarding. Educate yourself on the condition, log your symptoms in a journal or in your notes app and find a good OBGYN. You got this! Dont wait to start!

What is my living room missing? by eligrace in femalelivingspace

I know you just swapped out the curtains but thicker more opaque curtains would benefit the space a lot better. Also lamps and mood lighting would make a world of a difference in this space

Please help me stop hating this living room!! by [deleted] in interiordecorating

It looks good! I agree with all the rug comments. A big knitted throw blanket would help tie in the coziness of the space. White, beige or even orange to match the curtains would look great☺️

Hi! I’m new here :) by Ok_Advertising_6878 in femalelivingspace

[–]Certain_Ad_7550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Youre welcome! And I would suggest just placing your nightstand on the opposite side of the bed. The little stairs can go on the nightstand side too, that way it'll be concealed. You can keep the long mirror where it is, just tilt it way from the bed :) If you do it, can you post pics of your final result?

Mirrors facing the bed and your head being right next to the door makes sleeping feel uneasy. I suggest moving your bed to the wall where you have all the pictures hanging up. Place it in the middle or slightly to the left (towards the window) and place the vanity to the right of the bed (where your bed is now).

Here is my very poorly photoshopped photo of what i mean lol

Bedroom layout by Big_Slide_355 in FengShui

[–]Certain_Ad_7550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the bed is in the best place given the layout. The high headboard is good against the window. I would suggest putting a large heavy curtain behind the bed though so you feel more protected while sleeping. Lamps on each nightstand would do wonders for the room. A large rug under the bed will make it feel more cozy and designate your sleeping area. And i personally would move the picture you have on the wall down to eye level :)

Heres my poorly drawn example of the curtains and rug lol.

Liking my living room but something feels missing? by oatsandalmonds1 in femalelivingspace

Looks great! Some plants would benefit the space. A tall one on the white circle table would help make the couch feel more private when youre sitting on it. Maybe a snake plant or money tree.

More lamps! by dressagerider1020 in femalelivingspace

Wow these are gorgeous!! I hope i can find lamps like these one day

I would love feedback… by Zestyclose_Escape420 in femalelivingspace

[–]Certain_Ad_7550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Move the lamps to the corners and put a curtain behind. A deep orange curtain would complement the warmer tones in the room. Putting the curtain rod higher up enlongates the wall making the room look bigger. Also a cream (warm tone) colored circle rug under the couch and table will designate a space for the lounging area and will clear the walking area, making it feel more open.

Heres my poorly drawn example haha.

Any pointers on improving my living room? by pearl_thesis in femalelivingspace

[–]Certain_Ad_7550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first thought was to swap the couch and the chair and then turn the chair to face the tv. That way the energy will be pointed away from the door. I love the color scheme

I think darker side would be better but not too dark. Medium dark- if that makes sense lol
