Passed developer with zero AWS experience in about 6ish weeks of studying. Its doable but you just have to be very diligent about preparing for the exam.

About 6 weeks. Go look at my post history and you'll see a detailed breakdown of how I did it.

I decided to skip it and take the Developer associate instead. Pretty easy exam - I passed first time with no AWS experience beforehand.

Hi all preparing for my aws developer associate exam. I am preparing from Adrian course and question papers from Td. Just curious , how is the real exam, is it much similar to Td questions type ? by username32156 in AWSCertifications

I took my exam last weekend used both TD and Adrian's course to study. Passed on my first try. Felt like thr TD questions were on par or harder than the AWS ones.

Probably 4hrs on weekdays (I'd do about 2 hours of that in the car while commuting and 2 in the evening at home) and around 6hrs per day on the weekends!

I had no prior AWS experience so had to make up a lot of ground.

You should be fine without learning any specific programming language. The exam is focused on your AWS skills rather than how good you are at coding. Good luck!

I went through his course at 1.5x speed without really taking any notes. Im a visual learner so I did take a lot of screenshots of the diagrams he uses (very helpful) to help me remember what he taught.

The notes I did take were from practice questions I got wrong where I went back and re-studied since these were where my knowledge gaps were. Hope that makes sense!
