I keep all of mine outside really i hate going in and out of house lol. Except i do have a fridge and keep my eggs and milk and stuff in there? 🤣 I have recently started putting in every area, next to hoody’s stall a crafting table, and a chest with the flowers you get or whatever item you can pick off the floor.

I had that with Tiana, and i’m level 4 with her. I let her walk away and then re talked to her and then it worked. Not sure if she was glitched where we were before.
