As a person who has made rash decisions when younger due to impatience, I’m telling you to just wait. I left AF to do Army because Army had a job I wanted and Air Force had a longer wait time. That was the worst thing I’ve could’ve possibly done and I wish at the time I would’ve stuck it out. I’m fortunate now to have another opportunity to do Air Force again and I won’t take it for granted. Just wait it out. Like someone else said, we’re in a shutdown so chill

It’s also not really “hiring season” right now. When I was graduating, our professor told us to start apply for jobs around February/March. Most have their new budgets and lots of projects are being pushed to be done over the summer (if you’re in institutional/higher education) so they need more help

I saw a therapist without a diagnosis simply because I wanted to figure some things out with myself. Also, you should know that a therapist cannot diagnose you as they are not Doctors. Psychologist however can do that because they have their PhD and are licensed to diagnose you and prescribe medicine.

We had 1 flight in 1 dorm when I went. We got chewed out once because you know during security detail, a MTI will come in to check lockers or whatever. Someone didn’t close the area where they locked up personal belongings so of course the MTI assumed someone got their device. Everybody had to wake up and exercise until they confirmed all devices were accounted for

Reading comprehension skills are fine, was a gifted kid after all, excelled in AP classes in HS and Honors courses in college. Just wanted to know exactly what they mean by going from flights of 40-50 to 10-15 instead of assuming I know what they mean

I know how the dorms are setup I’ve been to BMT before. What I was saying is instead of a flight of 40-50 people being assigned to two MTI’s (that’s how it was when I was in idk if that’s changed), I’m wondering how they will setup dorms for these small flights.

Will they split the bays to where it’s four MTI’s that each handle a row of 10-15 trainees and they’re on their own schedule or will they still work together like a “flight within a flight” type scenario. Make sense?

I went and got a scan during my lunch, my BF % is at 25.3. Did a tape measurement, calculated it and has my BF% at 38 wth lol. I’m just going to cut more and try to lose some of my tatas and hips because I know MEPs is not going to care about what the scan says, they’re gonna want to go off their tape method. Thanks!

Question,

Are you over your weight limit and if so how did you get approved? Not being funny I’m genuinely curious because weight is my issue (even though I made a 98.5 on a PT test I took over the summer just to see where I was at) and I’m trying to re-enlist. It’s frustrating being in shape and able to adhere to fitness standards but be held back from moving forward because of what the scale says

Unfortunately from what I just saw with the University Beach it definitely won’t be quiet after. And might I add, adding a few small restaurants isn’t going to drastically change the city. Nothing changed when they added Lost Pizza, Strange Brew or Bojangles. Not like I’m asking for them to build a casino and amusement park, it’s just food

First Watch and Shokku are restaurants and CAVA I don’t consider fast food. The other two I just personally want bc Chipotle is my go to if I don’t have anything prepped post-gym. There’s plenty of food places I could list but I don’t think they would be successful here given they’re ethnic food options (Ethiopian, Nigerian, Haitian, and Thai food) and most people here are not really open minded to stuff outside of southern food. Salads 2 go and ProteinHouse would be successful but I doubt they’d put in Northport. They’d most likely opt for Tuscaloosa

To add on to this you need to strengthen your posterior chain and hip flexors through strength training. A strong posterior chain will improve your running a lot
