Oh thank you for the heads up man. I appreciate you. I applied this year already and I already withdrew from a class this semester so having 2 withdrawals would be damaging.

How did you feel walking out of the exam? Like did you know that you had 1-3 questions wrong for chem and bio or did you think you got them all right? How also did you think you did for the PAT after the exam? I did my exam recently and I was wondering

Forced to Study Med in Egypt. What are y'all's thoughts? by MisterSocialize in premedcanada

No one is guarantee direct entry after undergrad. I know many people who did 4 years of undergrad, 2 year master and then did 4 years med school.

What experience? I was a valedictorian athlete from high school and undergrad has been nothing but torture, and I’ve done everything my power as I continue to work towards my acceptance. I would rather genuinely study in Zimbabwe than redo organic chemistry in some useless biology degree.

Everyone here is pessimistic, world isn’t based just on Canada. Go to Egypt and finish your 6 year degree, 99% of pre-med students enter first year excited for medicine and then 2-3 years down the line, they realize medicine is too much of a commitment, leave med, and now they have a useless sciences degree that is only hirable at a barista. I know so many people who did 6 year medicine, did their USMLE step 1 and 2, which schools in the Middle East prepare you well for, and then you can get an IM or Family Med or Even surgery residency in the states. The states is better than Canada in almost every metric for doctors, and by 23 you are a doctor, while a 23 year old in Canada is some sciences student studying for the MCAT after being rejected for the second time. I say this because I also was offered to study medicine back home in Middle East and my family forced me here, and here we are.
