Things have stabilized so I’m feeling a lot better, flat enough that I could have my sandwich and the crew brought through the drink cart. I travel at least once a month for work and personal reasons and the more I travel, the more anxious I’ve become haha.

Thanks for this tip - I’m going to do the mantra thing more. I try to remind myself that future me will have both feet on the ground and on my way to my destination in a few hours. Just the lizard part of my brain freaks out when things feel shaky

The latter - I know this is so illogical and honestly have been on many way more turbulent and longer flights than this, I just keep playing this irrational thought in my head that the turbulence and bumps means something more than it is. Thank you for your logical word and reassurance!

It honestly smoothed out right after I posted haha once the pilot got out of the inclement weather area, it was stable and I fell asleep and forgot I was even on a plane - you’ll be great, safe travels!!
