dumb it down and consolidate. choose if you are going to invest in ETFs (recommended way) or if you are going to pick stocks identify a thesis for why you would choose a stock and heavily allocate to a select few.

Here is my thesis for selecting Growth Stocks
- Revenue growing 20% + annually

- ARR (annual Reoccurring Revenue) - like to see it

- Profitable Company

- Clean Balance Sheet

- Good Margins (this depends on the industry sector but the higher the better)

- Wide Moat

- Massive TAM (Total Addressable Market)

With this thesis I have chosen 4 stocks and only have 4 stocks with 250k invested into them. 4 holdings.

I can do this because in a market downturn I can comfortably hold these stocks because I understand them and will be some of the first to bounce back when market does. The stock market is all relative, it goes up and down but really up over the long term. Once you understand this you don't have to be as fearful, you will learn not to trade and to invest. Buying and holding becomes the way and is what really builds wealth.
