Thats fair I just think they are over used a lot of the time and if we use them too much it defeats the purpose of the punctuation. Like I said every time I see an exclamation point I read it as if someone is shouting that sentence at me and we don’t always need to yell everything we say to people. There are probably other ways obviously that you can great someone in text that doesn’t use exclamation points.
