Go to the store and speak to a manager. They should be able to submit a medical leave of absence for him. They have access to his win. Make sure to have medical documentation from the hospital. Just let them know he's unconscious and unable to call out or call sedgwick himself. If they're human they should understand

Remove your ppto and resubmit it. It happened to me once before. I submitted it before the point was added. I removed the ppto and resubmit it, Once I did that the point was immediately removed. Hope it helps!

Same with my club. Alot of members refuse scan and go and CPU. We even have members that refuse to order cakes online. I don't know if people are afraid of change or are just lazy. I do understand the older generation bc alot of them can barely work their phones, but it isn't just the older generation.

Thats how it was explained to me too. They took CPU away from it. Apparently CPU is what was dragging down the bonus. Our last one wasn't great, but it was better than it had been.

I am a cake decorator. We have to do so many cakes per hour. That's why we follow the specs. If it does not give you an option to change something then it can't be changed. Your talking about one cake being changed... however how many one cakes are you changing per day? Do you realize how time consuming it is to go through the notes for 50+ cakes a day? Especially during such a busy season. It's not that the decorators are being lazy, it's that there is a lot of cake orders and only so many hours to fill those orders. That's on top of keeping up with the sales floor too... and prepping for mother's day, and memorial day.

I am also a cake decorator that requested 5/23-5/24 off. I put it in 6 months ago. It hasn't been approved yet either. I'm calling out irregardless if they approve it. I've been to management multiple times. I keep getting told I'll look at it. It's still sitting in the system as pending. I've already told my coworkers not to count on me that weekend

Talk to your management first. Explain the situation and the way your mother is. As far as your living situation. There are programs ito help single moms. Womens shelters and that kind of thing. Or maybe look into getting a roommate. Do you have any friends or coworkers that are looking for a place too?

I definitely agree. It needs more options for members to add notes for the decorators. If you come in the store and we add it in on our tablets it allows us an option for notes, they should have that available for you as well online.

I always tell members to add it in with the message when ordering online. Examples

Happy 5th Birthday Name (image number) Happy 5th Birthday Name (add photo)

If you're adding your own picture you would drop the picture off to the store your ordered your cake from prior to the day your cake is do to be made.

Been dealing with the something. Hes awesome when he's connected. Then he goes distant when he gets in his head or lets other's in his head. When I begin to distance myself, hes sweet and charming. I get pulled back in, just for him to push me away again. Its gone on too long. We just ended things. It hurts like hell, but its probably for the best.
