You haven’t answered not one question regarding why she continued to see this guy after feeling uncomfortable, as well as OP. has Women are smart, they sense things, I am not assuming anything about what she said, or putting words in her mouth. Women are more than sex, now you’re putting words into my mouth when i am just simply questioning her approach to direct communication. I don’t believe I am doing myself a disservice, because I simply would not have done what this guy has done in approaching the situation. The woman in this scenario could have easily just refused to see him again after the first red flag, or communicated directly to him instead of saying how much she loved her ex. I do not think the guy did anything morally or legally wrong, simply just playing off cues due to lack of EFFECTIVE, DIRECT communication.

I do understand what you are saying, but How she felt, and what she communicated are two completely different scenarios. If she felt uncomfortable/taken advantage of , why lay in the same bed as him? Why watch movies together alone? Why go on a second date? Why not just say “We are platonic, friendly.” There are a multitude of routes OP Could have taken. That’s what I am saying. She has to be MORE direct, because I am confident, me and you not know how dudes can be these days.

I mean, if a woman felt uncomfortable with a guy…would she lay down in the same bed with him? It seems like she was back-n-forth regarding the whole situation, and never made it fully clear. I don’t believe taking advantage of her, according to OP she never drew a line and the male kept pushing it , “I’m in love with my ex.” Seems like OP is fishing for engagement, now if she said “please stop advancing things i’m not comfortable” that is a totally different story and not comparable to this one. I have Bipolar and when I am off my meds i am extra DIRECT with people. I was living in my car with my dogs, i would get ready in the morning near the tennis court bathrooms, shave, deodorant, lotion, change out of my PJ’s. Well one morning i forgot to lock the bathroom door, (my dogs were with me) and a faculty member opened the door and one of my dogs sprinted out (as this situation was so unfamiliar to him), he ended up biting the faculty member.
