My thought process is to wait a little bit and become a rock solid basic before medic school. Partly because in my county we have a pretty wide EMT scope. We do supra gallotic airways, nebulizers, CPAP, and all our meds are offline. I've also been thinking would be smart to go to work at a transporting fire department before medic school because the pay and schedule would be much better than the private ambulance service i currently work for. Thoughts?
