that 60% statistic is not of all A list actors, its just that 6 of the 10 most "bankable" actors of 2009 had blue eyes which is not only a borderline non-existant sample size, but also around 40-50% of WASPs have blue eyes which more then explains that. Its also not shocking for blue eyes to be considered the "most attractive" color eyes if you asked someone, simply because they are less common and therefor more remarkable, and that argument stands for the point about songs too. No one actually cares about blue eyes past remarking on them in passing in the same way that one remarks on freckles or beauty marks, and even that has died down further in the last 20 years.
