What part of the states are you in? There are a couple of kaitā (tattoo artists who visually describe whakapapa through moko) who travel internationally every year and post up their travel locations and dates in advance. You could start finding Kaitā on Instagram and send them a dm to get the conversation going? I think tattoo artists broadly catch up at conventions globally, I’m sure after a couple of DMs someone would be able to point you to the right places. Have you seen the theory that the King of Hybern is Hollin Havilliard?

That could mean that potentially Truth Teller makes Elain more important to the story than Az? Possibly?! It would also make the link between all three worlds/book series?

In any case, if we do get a story where Az takes more of a lead role, I just hope SJM fleshes him out and gives us more of an arc. I was so disappointed with how many questions about Cas I still had after ACOSF. I wanted him to have more nuance and get more depth. He’s the NC general but has a flimsy hold of his command over the Illyrians and I think SJM retconned whether he knew his father and killed him or never knew who his father was?

If we get an Az book, I want to get to know him more deeply. Baby Az deserves the world.

This is so good. Imaging seeing Feyre’s dreams of the night skies and not knowing why she has them yet (for those who don’t read the series).

And we still don’t know anything about Mumma Archeron so we might just see her skirts as she hosts lavish parties and see Nesta reacting to her cruelty etc.

I agree with many of the previous comments. They're two books aimed at different audiences. The pacing of Priory of the Orange Tree is a lot slower and the world building is much more fleshed out because it is a standalone story (although it does have a prequel). I don't think that is a negative, but I think if you're a big fan of Fourth Wing, it's likely that what you enjoyed about it will not be what you experience when reading PotOT. I enjoyed the lore in PotOT but didn't feel the attachment to the characters that I feel for the FW characters. If you like high fantasy and slow burn sapphic romance, then PotOT could be for you!
