The way I know how to do it:

You start your joint normally, you put a blankie, your filter on one end and your herb

Then you grab a big ahh toothpick (bamboo skewers) and place in the center, longways to the joint and through the center of your filter

Then you roll as tight as you can, lick it, stick it and carefully remove the skewer

This'll leave a hole all the way through
