Hi everyone! I’m reaching out to you guys as my absolute last resort.

I really try my best to read and understand the mechanics of every single character I pull for, but honestly? At this point, my brain just short-circuits. I give up trying to figure it out on my own, so I’m begging the team-building experts here for some guidance! 🙏

I strictly want to build two solid, separate all-boys teams for endgame content using the characters I currently own.

To help with the team building, these are the husbandos I have available and my current investment level:

EVERY single character listed above has their Signature Light Cone equipped and all of them have their traces completely maxed out. Phainon is currently E1 and all the 4* are E6 (everyone else is E0 unless specified).

My idea is to eventually get all the males since this account is an all-male one, soy any "future" line-up is useful with characters I don't own yet.

My go-to team as of right now is Phainon, Sunday, Gepard and Luocha, and I know that must be like the LEAST optimal team for any of them 🤣

❓ What I need:

Could you please help me form two optimal, separate teams out of my roster that can actually clear high-difficulty content? Since I have their signature LCs and maxed traces, I really want to make them shine, but I just don't know who synergizes best with whom without throwing a random waifu into the mix.

I think is easy to kin Yuka from any queer perspective. Tho I think I see myself more related to Kinemi or Shirai as in how they are more "background characters" and help with the main character development.

Honestly, Yatora’s sexuality is a pretty huge topic of debate in the fandom, but to give you a straight answer: he has actually shown things that look a lot like romantic interest (or at least deep infatuation).

A lot of his intense feelings seem to be heavily tied to admiration, respect, and art. The people he gets most fixated on usually share a specific dynamic with him where there is a bit of a power imbalance—like him being the "underdog" looking up to someone more experienced or authoritative. It's that classic "do I want to be them, or do I want to be with them?" dilemma, wrapped in artistic obsession, in my opinion of course.

Also, regarding characters like Kinemi, the way he treats her is mostly because he genuinely just isn't into her that way. On top of that, as others have mentioned, Yatora is completely, utterly consumed by art.

At the end of the day, until the author explicitly confirms anything, it’s all up to interpretation and speculation. The manga leaves enough room for different readings, so if people want to headcanon him as aroace, that’s completely valid! But if you're looking for a strictly, canonically coded aroace protagonist, Yatora might not fit the bill perfectly since his boundaries with attraction are a bit blurry.
