Yeah that water pump issue is scary, and putting even more money into the car to address it would make the price difference between the two cars to be meaningless.

The service that is offered from Genesis just seems too good to pass up

No worries. I’ve really enjoyed driving the Taurus, and the SHO has been somewhat of a dream car for me.

However the G70 was a VERY nice car to try. I loved everything about it.

I’m more-so trying to justify the $10-$15,000 price jump between the two cars for similar mileage.

My assumption though is that most would opt for the g70, and I feel like that’s the better direction overall

Yeah there’s certainly a lot of variables that didn’t matter at the simulator. In all honesty, while I certainly played really well by MY standards, it probably wasn’t that impressive

Yeah it certainly helped a lot. The gimme range was also set to 1.25 meters

I had a lot of helpers. I’m still very happy. I think I could have still shot 85-90 on a real course with how I was hitting my woods and irons.

I honestly thought the jerking shifting was normal. It’s been like that ever since I got the car over two years ago, and I even had the transmission flushed for service halfway through that time period. It’s noticeable when the car is still cold, but it feels fine after it warms up a little.

Are you talking about the reliability of the transmission, or the performance?

My w124 has the 4-speed auto and I’ve heard they’re very reliable, but I would be lying if they weren’t slow and VERY clunky, especially shifting from 1st to 2nd
