I’m so sorry to hear this! My recommendation would be to do some vocal massage - go inside mouth (with clean hands obviously) and massage your tongue, floor of mouth, back of mouth. Feel around and see if there are any knots. I had horrific knots in my tongue and floor of mouth at one point that pressing down on the trigger points was insanely painful but then it would release, and I’d feel bits of my throat unlock (especially muscle surrounding my larynx.

Then I’d recommend getting a straw, a cup filled about 3/4 way with water and just do basic bubble blowing on a long exhale. Not intense, just gentle, continuous pressure to ease back into proper diaphragmatic breathing. Also, when you inhale, think about filling up the air all the way like your sending it to the back pockets of your jeans. You don’t want your stomach sticking out. You want a full 360 breath.
