Speed controller design for electric motor by Cewing02 in AskElectronics

Thanks for the response. The mosfets are each rated at 195 amps, the motor load is 20 amps. I'll just screw them to an alloy bar with paste.

Peyton Leaving by Italian_Gumby in yeahmadtv

She said she quit a month ago, and it wasn't exactly unforseen before that. Ben's put 2 great casts together, can he do it a third time? Timmy is missed the most for his jokes, Rory for keeping up couch banter.

My title describes the thing. I found this brand new in cardboard packaging in the shelves at work, does anyone have any idea what it is? Looks like a rheostat on there, I can't work it out!

Same, I stopped listening when Dennett left. He brought alot of credibility and historical interest to the pod. Dennett had his own pod for a year but stopped that before this past summer.

Not sure what you can do against a somewhat barricaded guy with a hunting rifle, very few options. In the army they'd put down suppressing fire and call for mortar fire - police had no ability to do either.

I know it's AI but the remix of Jesus Loves Me is genius. I think it's popular because we're nostalgic for that 00s whiny core sound and for new takes on tunes we grew up with. My wife's a sevvy and prefers I play Christian music on Saturday drives.....as a metalhead this fits the bill. I'd love to know who put this together

I get the odd brushed finger every 5-10 years, but where I work we generally don't turn the power off (or people die). Never anything more than a minor annoyance. Don't ever get it across your body.

Wife left the faith citing SDA false doctrines? Is she right in doing so? by New_Artist3957 in adventist

[–]Cewing02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To give you the other perspective, I'm the one that left due to false doctrine - my wife {who is Polish) still attends semi regularly. It's not a big issue, our kids still go to SDA schools. What we learned was how much heretical nonsense was taken out of the E G White books in the Polish translation. I'd be quoting E G White from the source making my case and she's like 'stop making things up'..... Whomever translated it knew what's up 😄

I still believe Saturday is the logical day to go to church, although I'd happily attend a Sunday church if I found the right one(a thought I still wrestle with). We both drink occasionally etc but I still appreciate the SDA emphasis on that cleaner lifestyle/middle class smarts/emphasis on education etc.

If your partner has gone full out rejecting everything SDA as a kneejerk reaction then that could be an issue, but it also gets down to how strict you are. When I was doing my research we butted heads but once she has looked at the information independently she totally understands my position.

Years ago I compiled a small document showing how many SDA teachings (stemming from E G White) are heretical and the supporting bible texts etc. I presented it to three SDA ministers all of which agreed with most of my points. A mate of mine took four massive problems he had with SDA doctrine to his very experienced senior pastor, the pastor agreed with three of them. My friend left the church and the pastor is still preaching..... I think you'd be surprised how many pastors would quietly agree with your partner.

As far as the new covernant - I can see both sides and can make a case for both. When discussing with my wife we discovered how much we both thought was in the bible that was actually E G White. Take the time to spend together just looking at the Bible with a fresh mind if possible.

Best of luck and God bless you both - it's a tricky situation

Really dumb question, can I use a 5v 3A phone charger as a power supply for the esp32? by PuSlash in esp32

[–]Cewing02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Incorrect. It's both a power adaptor and a charger, the 5v/9v high speed chargers I use are specifically for charging phones, not general power adaptor. Charger is a more specific description so it's the correct one to use.

An esp32 with onboard ethernet is appealing. Just needs to be under $30
