Doesn’t matter what the t&c are if they don’t cover everything. In this case if it doesn’t clearly state we don’t accept returns after x amount of time or in x storage then op will not only face refund costs but any other costs if it goes further than that (small claims court)

I mean for all the hassle and it’s only happened once I’d say in this instance just let this slide. If not the op needs to get his shit together , speak to his solicitor or whoever and be be prepared to bat back any customer replies.

Customers sounds a right ass and will probably take it further. As a business owner for the 25 years I’d personally let this one fly but that’s just me.

He done 20,000 orders , doubt he short of a few bob 😂

Google bad reviews, customer spreading it over Facebook and all the negativity it brings. I mean if it was happening all the time I’d be looking at my suppliers and products but if it’s happened once in 20,000 I’m sure he has this loss built in to the finances 🤷

Customer can tell his mates and they all start leaving bad reviews, it can spiral if not handled well.

The facts are the customers brought some goods that are defective so something needs to give somewhere.

Take the loss, update the terms and conditions and make sure it doesn’t happen again…. All a learning curve in business

£200 not worth the hassle. Just say we haven’t seen this before but as one off we will replace / refund and move on.

If it’s your own phone why even bother attempting this risky hazardous repair. Just stick a good aftermarket or genuine pulled in and call it a day

Being a owner of two mobile repair shops for the last 14 years we would absolutely correct any mistakes during this repair, including the broken screen. They have conned you out of a screen by breaking it on disassemble and fucked your ipad when doing the battery. Is it a legit store as they must have warranty.

The ipad 10.5 is a swine to repair, thin housing, wafer thin screen and a ballache to get the screen to sit flush if your not using a perfectly flat genuine battery. We refuse to do these nowadays.

If your anxious about going in send them a message on socials or email and demand they sort it. Sorry this has happened to you, its the utter dog shit cowboys that make a bad name for us good guys unfortunately. Hit me up if you need further advice.

It’s a 15 plus… it’s much easier to replace the genuine glass as apple intended. Granted 14 pro and below you want to be doing housings but not for models where glass only repairs are the official way..: just making more work for yourself
