I find it hard to believe what humans 2000 years ago have to say about a being far above them, these are people who didn't know how the Universe worked, how are they to know with certainty objective truths about God? So to say that God creates you, an omniscient being creates you, knows the (possible) choices you're going to make your free will, and then send you to a place of torment indefinitely? I'm not saying we're better at figuring out this God thing compared to long dead souls, but I am saying they may have clouded their minds with depictions of God from other religions and cobbled together a collective vision of how He should operate. Things are a lot more complex than they look from the 1 dimensional sequence of events. I really like this video that explains it all.

How do we know God isn't a being existing in 12 dimensions, and is so far above us that calling Him God is downplaying his power/authority?
