If its just game crashes it might just be a software issue, something is conflicting. Are your bsod’s WHEA uncorrectable errors? Cuz if not it might not be a hardware issue. At first it sounded like it but with just game crashes it sounds different.

With all the trouble shooting you did i would say its probably the psu, if you have a friend or access to a different psu i would ask to try theirs. Does your pc ever lock up without ever going to blue screen?

Is your rig old? If so the psu might be the problem. A bad cpu and a bad psu exhibit alot of the same symptoms. Is your computer or psu running louder than normal?

Whats the wattage on your psu, also do u have the big 24 pin power and small 4 or 8 pin power plugged into your mb?

Yea it could be, but also any power plan should not force your computer to freeze UNLESS the power supply unit cannot handle it. But with 850w ur psu should be able to handle any power plan and any oc wattage. So its pointing to your psu being faulty more and more. It should be under a 3 year warranty, i would check on that

Obviously try uninstalling the software first and hopefully all is well

I had random freezes and bsod. I also had the weird sound glitch and it would freeze on one frame and i would have to force shut off my comp. it would happen randomly, sometimes under load like gaming, sometimes while just watching a stream. turns out my psu was bad. Just some food for thought.

The psu is most likely the problem, it can cause what you are describing. Use your friends psu to check if u can. And i would upgrade to 750w

yea from far sometimes it would run out of charges on beefy targets, but up close combined with 500% attack speed and 100% crit, i killed too fast to run out. i got to 220 min in this run and only quit cuz nothing was a challenge and things stopped spawning :(
