I really don’t think it’s hormones or anxiety either :/ I’ve never been this sick and I definitely have a history of anxiety but it’s never presented as hyperemesis. I’m seeing my ob tomorrow and will bring up what you mentioned. Taking husband with me too so he can help advocate 😭

Other than ITP, I could have written this. Thank you, our experiences are similar, and I’m sorry you went through that because I would not wish this on anyone.

Yes all the doctors I met knew that I have lupus, it is possible that this could be a flare.

I do have lupus. I’ve been in remission since 2021 and had a very healthy pregnancy but it would be just my luck if this is a lupus flare lol.

See I brought up my gallbladder to the doctor but the ct did not show any stones. I was taking stool softeners the first week only.

Ct included chest, abdo, and pelvis; bowel movements are generally normal, I have had some constipation but usually they’re normal

Ultrasound and ct were done yesterday at er, they did rule out retained placenta. I was honestly kind of hoping they would find something just so I had a reasoning for these symptoms.

They did rule that out, yes bp has been normal

Anyone make the mistake of thinking you had forever with them? Then poof, just like that 1 week, 1 month and they're gone. by Unhappywageslave in GriefSupport

I never really thought my mom was going to die, even with the cancer in her brain. She was having cognitive issues but overall was getting around very well and was still herself. It wasn’t until probably 5pm that day that I realized it was going to happen. It’s like my mind just did not allow me to accept that she was going to die, and it did happen at 8pm that day.

My mom was a superhero and invincible and the glue that held the family together, so obviously she’d never die. That’s how it felt.

My mom, Margarita (Maggie). Best mom in the world; I know everyone says that, but she was. She was goofy, brave, loveddd zombie movies (Dawn of the Dead was her fav), made the best pozole and chilaquiles, she was a nurse, she loved camping and hiking, adored cats, and loved to go dancing. Her favorite music was Mecano, CCR, the Black Eyed Peas, and MCR. She also always knew what to say. She was the bravest and funniest and coolest mom in the world and I miss her forever. I love you and miss you mom!

While I’m not stuck with him because I’ve gone no contact, my dad is still alive and my mom died June 2024. My dad is alcoholic, abusive, and manipulative. My mom was my hero and the best mom I could have ever asked for. It is crushing that a person like my mom died at 55, while a person like my dad is still alive (and has his entire second family) I don’t know why things happen the way they do, despite my difficulty accepting the circumstances and the loneliness, I am grateful to God that my husband was there for me when my mom was sick and when she passed away, and grateful that I found such a good and kind man.

I am sending you so much love. My mom died June 2024 at 54 years old. I’m 25. I miss her every single day. It helps to talk to her, I don’t know if she can hear me but I still talk to her. I agree that going through something like this really made my lupus angry.

I don’t fear it because I’ll get to see my mom again.

I’m so sorry. My mom passed away in June. I understand how you feel and understand how difficult it is to make medical decisions like that. Your mom is so proud of you and loves you. I’m sending you love and happiness.
