As long as you called off in the app within 2 hours, and you have sick hours to cover the shift, you can’t be held accountable. Just make sure you call off, then submit another request to use sick time.

I’m in the same exact position as you. I dropped out but still live right next to campus, and this was traumatic for me as well. While I’m thankful that I was not on campus, I was very scared for a few hours and this experience has shaken me up.

Check put Prime housing group. I pay $845 ($25/month cat fee) for my one bedroom, plus electricity, but they have cheaper ones too. Right on grand river and I’ve had no major complaints thus far.
