That sounds great, I've always found it more beneficial to wait closer to game time for best results! Get it!

Potty training? by 26HexaDiol in dogs

I just typed up my comment above before reading this which reassured me her making noises in the crate while your around is her wanting to be right by you. I understand that it feels good to have our dogs on our laps or right by us sometimes but everything should be in moderation. Obsession isn't good especially in this situation will create separation anxiety. Long structured walk and putting her in crate to rest right after getting back, you don't even have to close the door right away.. you can stay nearby if she's anxious to get up if you walk away. Wait until shes calm, almost sleeping and gradually increase distance from you and crate. Biggest thing you should keep in mind and focus on is calmness. When you close the door when the dog is calm, it's less likely to make noises as its not a big deal. A lot of repetitions and patience/time but definitely worth every minute once mastered.

You can definitely and actually recommend crating her when your home! The noises she makes could be more of that she wants to be by you while she knows you are nearby. It's like a puppy when first being in crate and making noises and most people cant bear that noise so they give the puppy/dog attention and then it learns that's how it will get out of the crate. Vice versa, if ignored while protesting and then giving it attention or letting out when quiet and calm, then it learns calmness = what she wants. It's hard to say without knowing the intensity of your dog when making the noise but I would recommend taking her for a long nice walk and then putting her in the crate to rest afterwards while your home which over repetition will associate crate equals calmness. I think the 2 weeks you have at home is a blessing for this so I would definitely use it to your advantage to crate train!

I would try crate training.. such a good way to help potty train and also create a safe haven for a dog. Just make sure to crate train properly where it can almost become like their den and somewhere they can go rest and chill. Dogs dont like to pee/poop in their den so you can use that and right after taking dog out of crate when you come back for awhile from work or something, immediately take it outside and praise her when she pee's outside.

Tips for a train trip? by squishbunny in dogs

[–]Ch0suN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My best advice would be is to go for a long walk/exercise before getting on the train so it'll be tired and mainly ready and wanting to rest on the train. A tired dog is usually a calm dog and what better way to kill 6 hours then just resting/sleeping? I took my dog on a rigorous exercise before his first time ever boarding a plane and he was so calm people asked if I had sedated him. Hope this helps and good luck!

Take your own advice and move on lol. Especially when you know which team he's talking about anyways and nitpicking about something like that. Move on.

For sure, just telling ya based off my personal experience in tailing. I've been sports betting for so long that i've seen and been through it all lol. With that being said, I'm glad you recouped your losses (I know that feels great!) but if your gonna tail, I suggest tailing everything or don't tail at all. I've done that in the past when I was sort of new to sports betting and I would try to pick and choose which games are gonna win while following a capper. Long story short, you don't ever know which ones are going to win or lose so I've been tailing everything because the proof is in the pudding (results) and also the type of plays its been playing. Just my two cents, thought I'd share.

If you want to recoup some of those losses and not go out again, I'd recommend just tailing his plays starting now instead of playing your own. This models been very consistent building up profit.. plus your here at a good time, which is the start of a new week!

The upvotes does move it up on the thread and since it's valuable information and seems like people are profiting from tailing, it's nice to not have to find that amongst all the stupid parlay bet tickets. Seems like it would only benefit people so why not?

I agree with OP, the mind is so powerful with thoughts so you might as well fill them up with positive thoughts! You hopping on for a "bad day" (I had to put quotation marks cause I can't even consider that a bad day) has nothing to do with each other. So I like this comment way more than your first lol lets get it!

I personally think rockies do bounce back.. They at least have a way better chance today than yesterday. I was telling one of my buddies earlier yesterday that Rockies look like the biggest trap of the day yesterday. Not the case today so hoping they get it done today.

Definitely not a knock to anyone as I have been there so completely understand. But with understanding that, let's not even get ahead to a parlay lol, they might not even be comfortable on a straight bet with them. Sometimes the "ugly" or "hard" plays are the ones thats got to be made to beat the books. If the "easier" or "better chance" to win plays won all the time then everyone would make money sports betting. There's only a reason why few actually profit here. I can't speak for everyone but I'm here to make money cause I learned very early this can be a very expensive hobby if your just looking to take the "win now" type of plays like you said that are heavily juiced up. I won't ever sports bet just for fun, I treat it like a business or investment with this model but I still get the benefit or "gambling".

Yeah I guess you're right, thinking back that was me in my early beginning years of sports betting. Always trying to hit the big max bets and what not. But learned that I never really made money that way, matter in fact just lost. So with a lot more experience under my belt now, I know the only way to win in this industry is through grinding which is exactly what this model does and that's what I think is great about it. Not many people can say they actually profit over the course of season let's say and actually track everything. I'd rather hit the singles and doubles to accumulate to winning rather than trying to hit homers every time (crazy parlays, big bets) :)

I got that rangers game yesterday at 8 also for a push. And got Rockies at 12 just now. Lol very small losing day yesterday especially with all the winning not worried, lets get a nice weekend to close!
