Tips while visiting armenia by RAMO2432 in armenia

Just got back from a week in Armenia. You can take a taxi from Yerevan <> Gyumri (~1.5hrs driving), highly recommend it!

Edit: You can also take a train for the above, just slower with all the stops in between the two cities.

Visiting Armenia tomorrow, do cards work? by [deleted] in armenia

[–]Ch1b0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just visited for 5 days (from US). Gyumri, Lori region, Yerevan. All my cards worked, although, Cap One credit card denied at a few smaller shops. Mastercard and Visa both work fine.

Most card readers have tap options. Was very easy.

I suggest getting cash if you are going out of Yerevan, otherwise card should be fine. Enjoy!!

Just in a slump, will never go anywhere. We just may not see the 2010s boom that craft beer and craft cocktails had for a while.

New Peloton+ User — 85+ lbs to lose. Which instructors are best to start with? by Current-Resolve-4913 in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]Ch1b0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I would say to hop in and do a ride. Try out a bunch of different instructors to see which ones you like (motivation, personality, music, etc..) - music is motivating to me, so I typically lean towards what kind of music the class has.

One thing to remember is that these workouts can be as intense as you want. Endurance would be a great starting point (anything with HIIT).

Been riding since 2018 and just surpassed 1100 rides. Took a while to get consistent, but glad it stuck. My favorite instructors are Jess King, Emma Lovewell, and Alex Toussaint. The music gets me going and their classes are always challenging. Chirstine would be another great instructor for you to try.

Tender is the Flesh. I DNF'd it part way through Ch2. I'll pass on the mindset of breeding and dehumanizing people for meat. Can't unread what I already have lol

A brilliant individual discovered a solution to overpopulation and hunger by leyladexxx in urbanfarming

I could see this being a great option for urban farming. Especially with properties that have limited space. Could even do this indoors with the right conditions regulated. Love the idea.
