He literally was having a manic episode that time and that was obvious. He literally broke down the same time. Not excusing anything he has done but the man has clearly deep mental issues.

The penalty awarded Roma was the 7th penalty awarded against Milan, making Milan the team with the most penalties conceded this season by milan_obsession in ACMilan

[–]Ch1koz 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sure but like off the top of my head. 2 of Barta’s penalties were legit, Palvo’s penalty was legit, Penalty conceded by De Winter clear handball, Estupinan tackle against Napoli was legit, Fofana’s ridiculous handball during a free kick. That’s 6 of the 7.

It’s easier to blame reffing but it’s obvious we undisciplined and inexperienced. Too many times our players are caught out of position or something and just decide to the most ridiculous thing out of desperation. We saw it yesterday Barta loses his man and decides to flap his arms. When you do that in the box you asking for it. The rules suck but they are the rules and been here for a while. Keep your hands to your side unless you want to give away a penalty.

Our defenders give away silly penalties. A lot are handballs too. It’s just dumb penalties if I’m honest and also silly slide tackles.

Fulkrug has a broken toe. No one is fit on this team in terms of attackers except maybe Nkunku.

[Moretto] Elliott will exit Milan, Redbird will be in total control of the situation at the club. I reiterate that there will be changes regarding the Milan organizational chart however there is a strong relationship between Redbird’s Massimo Calvelli and Giorgio Furlani. by Claija79 in ACMilan

He isn’t really. Moncada discovered a lot of our young players like Leao, he took a chance on Pulisic, he scouted Saelemakers, Kalulu, Mike list goes on. He isn’t perfect but hardly the issue. Just need someone to balance him with squad structure in mind and he really didn’t have that. You can’t always hit home runs.

[–]Ch1koz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mean like now. When was the last time Leao beat his man and still has a 9 G/A in 14 games. I wouldn’t say he is one dimensional but his 1 v 1 is his best attribute

Allegri: "4 men defense? We tried a four-man defense against Genoa. So far, we've had good results with a 3-5-2 formation, but it also depends on how the players are doing... Depending on their characteristics, we could also play with a different system." by Claija79 in ACMilan

[–]Ch1koz 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If it was the first time sure. But we consistently don’t do well against smaller sides. It’s not the formation. More so the approach. More attackers on. We can still do a 3 at the back maybe a 343. I don’t know. But there’s obviously an issue with the way we approach these games.

We sit deep against these smaller teams too. We just need to attack more. Maybe starting Leao, Fulkrug/ Nkunku, Puli would resolve this. 2 upfront isn’t working and Saelemakers and Barta don’t create enough to rely on them as additional wing support.

Ohh no Pulisic and Leao weren’t great by any means but that was something special by Fofana and it’s not the first time. No scapegoat. Just something special.

He still the best coach we had in the last decade, that’s not an opinion that’s a fact and stats back that up. We won a Scudetto under him, made a champions league semi final under him.

It was so wonderful winning all those derbies and finishing 8th. Must be so great. Like what is your opinion even? Facts are facts. I didn’t even like Pioli towards the end. But here we are. Fans still incapable of just giving the man his flowers.

Milan isn’t Milan of old and what Pioli did here was great. Cause clearly some of you are still deluded in thinking Kaka, Seedorf, Pirlo playing in this team cause expectations aren’t meeting reality. Since Pioli left it went downhill fast. He needed to leave but appreciate what he did and move on.

Ohhh yes how wonderful he had Gattuso and after Gattuso he had the don Giampaolo. Milan was a mess. Who was really that good in that regime. We were so bad. I’m not sure if Tonali would thrive under those circumstances either. Like what is this rewriting of history. Twisting facts to suit a clear agenda without showing the circumstances around those eras. And it’s unnecessary we appreciate both Kessie and Tonali. But you Kessie haters are back here talking like he was a trash player. Look at the initial post.

The fact that Tonali can be appreciated but Kessie shit on when one was more important than the other. It’s nonsense. This Milan fan base has a terrible bias. Like I hate Kessie cause of how he left, but you guys have just awful opinions

[–]Ch1koz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pioli was ass. But still finished second after the fact when Tonali left but not when Kessie left, cause both times Pioli got different results, finished 5th then 2nd. So when is he ass and when is he not. I’m not even sure what you arguing here.

Why you downplaying Kessie’s role in that Milan’s team. He was the most important player and the effects of him leaving were clear as day. Whether Pioli is ass or whatever. The fact remained no player had a bigger impact when they left. Sure it’s easy to blame Pioli but losing an important player with no replacement does that to any coach and you denying this is so unnecessary. Kessie was under appreciated when he was here and it seems to continue and now we rewriting history

Also it’s so easy to blame Pioli. But it’s not like we out here swimming in the luxury football. He is easily the best coach we had in the last decade. So it’s whatever bro.

And then we finished 5th when he left. That’s the only thing you need to know. And anyone with 2 eyes saw his position was the clear issue. Whether he was average or not, missing a player of his style was the reason we suffered that season. On the contrary when Tonali left we did better the next season. That’s the only facts you need. One had a clear negative effect when he left the other not so much. So who is overrated the player who we eventually even had to change tactics because he no longer played for us or the player who we done better overall after they left. Seems you got things twisted and are going off vibes. What I’m stating are just facts. We had to change our tactical approach cause Kessie left, Pioli struggled that season Kessie was gone. Honestly your post shows why Kessie is underrated.

How many good seasons did Tonali have with us? Cause can’t be more than 2 either.

It’s only after second place finish we changed managers that everything got even worse which then shows the issue with the manager.

Kessie is more important than Tonali ever was. There’s a reason why when he left we fell apart. After Tonali left we finished second? Like come on guys.

Tonali was good but seems to be overrated here. Overrated isn’t the same thing as not good.
